Interior Designer Surplus

Interior Designers across the country all end up with unwanted inventory. This can happen for several reasons – client doesn’t like item, item ordered by mistake, item doesn’t fit properly, or even client doesn’t pay. Designers typically try to reuse these items in other projects, but this can take time incurring storage costs. Designers can send things to consignment but end up with a fraction of what the item actually cost them. My goal is to create a website where Interior Designers have their own portal where they can upload pictures, descriptions, dimensions, and cost of the items they are trying to sell. Buyers can come to the website, search across all inventories, contact the seller and purchase inventory at the wholesale cost or below depending on how quickly the designer wants to sell.
