Hello, I'm Merrillee McGehee.

Merrilee McGehee Design is the result of a life lived with a passion for creativity. That passion has flourished in many genres​,​ including studio art​,​ film and Interior Design. Merrilee McGehee (ne'e​,​ Merrilee McCommas) nurtured her talents in the diverse settings of the Art Department at The University of Texas at Austin and film sets around the globe. She works on both residential & commercial projects as well as​,​ creates commissioned art pieces and custom murals. Her colorful work has been cited in Austin Home​,​ In Style Magazine​,​ Tribeza​,​ Austin Monthly​,​ HGTV Magazine and The Austin Chronicle to name a few. Her art has been shown at The Betty Moody Gallery in Houston​,​ The Galveston Arts Center and various group shows in Los Angeles & New York City. Her custom murals adorn the Offices of C3 Presents​,​ Alien Vault​,​ 7A Lodges and Texture Media​,​ among others. She brings an energetic and unique approach to every collaboration​,​ project and anything else that can be imagined and dreamed. Merrilee and her team hold true to the idea that art isn't just something you put on your walls​,​ but a response to that spark that lives within us all.
